Due to the departure of Markus Lesser as CEO of the PNE Group at the end of July, which was announced earlier this year, the PNE Group's Supervisory Board decided on July 18 to appoint current Supervisory Board Chairman Per Hornung Pedersen as interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 1, 2024. As a result, he resigned from the Group's Supervisory Board and Marc van't Noordende took over as its interim chairman. The search for a new CEO is also underway.
Roland Stanze, appointed Chief Operating Officer on August 1, 2024, has also joined the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will thus be expanded again to three members.
Per Hornung Pedersen, who had already held the role of interim CEO from December 2015 to May 2016, together with the new COO Roland Stanze and the CFO Harald Wilbert will ensure the continuity of the Board until a new CEO is appointed.
Per Hornung Pedersen, born in 1953, is an independent management consultant in the field of renewable energy and has many years of international experience in the wind energy sector. He holds degrees in finance and accounting, and auditing and tax law, as well as an MBA. Per Hornung Pedersen has been a member of the Supervisory Board of PNE AG since October 2015, and served as its chairman since May 2017.
Roland Stanze, born in 1965, has a degree in economics and many years of experience in the wind industry. He has played a key role in the national and international development of PNE AG, holding various management roles within the organization since 1999. Since 2014, he has been COO and later managing director of WKN GmbH, a PNE Group company.
