Sevivon at the PV 2024 Congress and the PWEA 2024 conference

Sevivon representatives participated in two important industry events concerning the development of renewable energy sources in Poland: the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) 2024 Conference, held in Świnoujście, and the PV 2024 Congress, held in Warsaw. The events brought together leading Polish and foreign experts, entrepreneurs and representatives of institutions related to the renewable energy sector.

On May 27-28, the PV Sevivon team took part in the PV 2024 Congress in Warsaw. It was a good opportunity to summarize the condition of the PV market and discuss the challenges facing the industry, especially in the context of the increasingly emerging surplus of power from RES. However, we mainly talked about the latest PV projects implemented by Sevivon in Poland. The company was also a coffee break partner of the event.

On the other hand, the June PWEA 2024 conference in Swinojscie was a platform for exchanging opinions and discussing the challenges facing onshore and offshore wind energy companies. The organizers gathered nearly 2,500 participants. The dominant topics were shortening the process of farm development and the assumptions of the new law regulating the construction of wind power plants, which is expected to see the light of day soon.

During the conference, Katarzyna Jarniewska, environmental expert at Sevivon PNE AG, took part in the panel “Challenges for the development of onshore wind energy - the environmental aspect.” During her speech she drew attention to a number of barriers that block the dynamic development of renewable energy in Poland. She pointed out, among other things, the discretionary nature of many of the decisions necessary to obtain in the agreement procedures for RES. The Sevivon team was visited by, among others, Mr. Olgierd Geblewicz, marshal of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship, where the company is developing the most new wind projects and where a green hydrogen plant with a target capacity of 1 GW is planned to be built soon.
