Development of RES in the Polish countryside. The 20th Congress of Rural Municipalities

The energy transformation of the Polish countryside was discussed by industry experts, representatives of local authorities and energy companies during the 20th Congress of Rural Municipalities in Jachranka. The cyclical event is organised by the Union of Rural Municipalities of the Republic of Poland, the largest organisation in the country, which brings together nearly 650 municipalities from all over Poland. Representatives of Sevivon, a PNE AG group, participated in the congress as RES Partner of the Union of Rural Municipalities of the Republic of Poland. This marks the beginning of cooperation between the organisations.

The event, which was held for the twentieth time, was an opportunity to exchange experience, talk to experts and representatives of local governments about the challenges facing the Polish countryside in the context of the need to decarbonise and implement the ambitious objectives of the European Union's climate policy. This year's Congress was organised under the motto: '30 years of activity of the Union of Rural Municipalities of the Republic of Poland for municipalities with rural areas'. The event was attended by more than half a thousand mayors from all over Poland. On the second day of the Congress, the organisers hosted the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

It is important to build it with reliable partners such as Sevivon.
